# hashn text messages

hashn texts businesses about requests for their own business, for example: *"New job for your business: water heater leak, Edina. They're OK with 1-3pm tomorrow. Reply GOOD, INFO or NO."* It's "an appointment in one text": customers' AI assistants do the back-and-forth on hashn, and the business owner gets one text to approve, ask a question, or pass.

## Who gets texts

Only business owners (or staff) who signed up for hashn and **chose** to get requests by text. Nobody gets texts from hashn without opting in.

## How to opt in

When you sign up your business on hashn (yourself, or with hashn's team during onboarding), you enter your mobile number and check: *"Text me job requests for my business from hashn. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."* hashn then texts you a 6-digit code; texts start only after you confirm it. Getting texts is never required: requests can come by email instead.

## What we send

- Job requests for your business that fit the rules you set, with a link to the details.
- Questions from a customer's assistant about a request, and confirmations of what you approved or declined.
- Your sign-up code.

No marketing, no promotions, no messages from third parties. How often depends on how many requests you get.

## Replies

- **GOOD** approves the request, **INFO** asks for more details, **NO** declines it.
- **HELP** for help. **STOP** (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT) stops all texts; **START** turns them back on.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

## Your number

We use your mobile number only to send you these texts and to receive your replies. We don't sell or share it, and we never share it with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Details: the privacy section of our terms, https://hashn.com/terms#privacy.
